Browser storage

When you save a story or choose a theme, this site stores that preference in your browser using localStorage. It is not sent to an account or shared with other visitors. Clear this site’s browser data to remove it. If storage is unavailable, preferences may last only for the current page.

Server logs

The web server processes connection information, including IP addresses, request paths, response codes and browser user-agent strings, to serve pages and diagnose faults. Access logs are rotated daily and retained for up to seven rotations. They are not used for advertising.

No submission forms

This site does not ask you to submit a name, email address, payment details or location. Images, scripts and styles are hosted on the same server; no social widgets or tracking pixels are embedded.

Using the journal

Articles provide general information for personal reading. They do not guarantee the safety or accessibility of a particular route. Check local conditions and respect land access and wildlife protection rules. The generated illustrations are not evidence of any place’s actual condition.
